White Sugar equivalent ? (substitute, syrup, recipe, corn)

Recipe calls for one cup of granulated sugar. What will be equal to that when using BROWN RICE SYRUP?

You can replace each cup of white granulated sugar with 1¼ cup brown rice syrup, and reduce the amount of other liquids by ¼ cup. You can also substitute brown rice syrup in place of honey, corn syrup, maple syrup or molasses.
