Spare yourself all the effort of a science experiment.

Pour a glass of coke, pepsi, or any other cola drink.

leave it on the counter overnight.

take a good gulp the next morning.

You will NEVER drink the stuff ever again. Without the bubbles, and whatever happens to it chemically once the fizz goes out, leaves you with a disguising glass of literally putrid liquid.

Coming from a LONG time Pepsi drinker.....like MANY Years; and I haven't touched the stiff in at least two years.

No evidence high fructose corn syrup is worse for you than sugar. It's all basically glucose which is converted to ATP in your body. Sugar in moderation is good for you. Worst health risk is for you teeth. I really don't know how these myths are started.

I've used it with ketchup to make a stove-top BBQ chicken, it wasn't too bad. I rather drink non-cola or Dr. Pepper. That is if I don't drink Ice Tea or lemonade.

I love these posts that claim if you do/watch/taste this you will NEVER partake again. Ummmm ... not necessarily the case.

Nothing particularly putrid about flat coke. It isn't necessarily great, but it's just flat coke. I don't see that putting most people off of drinking sodas.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss, because after seeing this video posted by Crazy Russian Hacker, you might think twice about that soda in your fridge.
Cook down a batch of kale and wheat grass juice and see what it looks like.

I always thought flat coke was more sweet. I'd add ice and enjoy.

Mom always gave it to me for an upset stomach when I was a kid. Not sure if it really did anything to improve the upset stomach, but it was definitely tasty medicine.
