Years ago, I remember the supermarkets had a pancake batter, in a small cardboard container, which was ready to pour and cook on a pan.

I don't remember the brand, possibly Bisquick. I can't find any now. Anyone know if it's still available?

Oh, I didn't consider the possibility they are in plastic containers. Thank you! I will check next time I am at the supermarket.

The Bisquick in the small plastic containers are not ready to pour onto the pan when opened, there is at least one ingredient that has to be added then you put the lid on and shake it then pour.

Okay, I will check the directions on the container when I am at the store.

Yes, the bottle asks you to add water. I use milk instead and a half teaspoon of vanilla flavoring.
