I like sparkling water a lot...especially San Pellegrino and Perrier. Add a little lime or lemon....great!! Refershing and no calories or added sweeteners/fake sugar.
club soda or seltzer the is same as sparkling water, IMO except sparkling water costs more. If I am out to dinner at a fancy place I San Pellegrino. Plus some club sodas have 5 mg of salt.
Pellegrino and Perrier are volcanic water sources and both claim the carbonation is natural carbonation. I like them both, but I believe they make me a bit more dehydrated than regular spring water, so I limit my intake.
I buy club soda and drink it with lime squeezed into it. Club soda tastes saltier than seltzer water. The only reason I buy club soda instead of seltzer is that I can get two liters for 77 cents, or a liter of seltzer water for 66 cents.
I don't drink pop so when I feel like something fizzy I will drink carbonated water with a bit of lemon or lime in it.
We purchased a soda stream machine so I can make 1 liter at a time which is plenty when I want it.
It also saves storage space and I don't have to recycle anything.
After living in Germany for almost 15 years it is the practicly the only water I drink. Mostly the cheap stuff for 20 cents a plastic bottle from ALdi or Lidl or what comes from the local producer but prefer Gerolsteiner or San Pelegrino.
