I've had pumpkin ravioli.....they were a disappointment. I love pumpkin, but it turns out not in ravioli.

Or December. I hate when a lot of the stores get rid of fall flavors by November and replace them with everything peppermint and eggnog. Not that there is anything wrong with those foods, but I want pumpkin foods through Thanksgiving. Between Halloween and Thanksgiving should be prime pumpkin time.

It's difficult for me to enjoy anything pumpkin but the color. I'm just not a fan of the fall squash family.

But my family likes to have pumpkin pie for our Thanksgiving meal. Last year I tried to come up with something I thought I would be able to eat and enjoy. I made a pumpkin cheesecake with butter/gingersnap crust topped with a tart cranberry coulis, maple glazed pecans and whipped cream.

I thought it was pretty and tasty but this year they want the plain old pumpkin pie again. You can't buck tradition.

Sometimes, I make pumpkin bread in March, just to be a rebel! You wouldn't believe how devilish I feel when I whip up a batch of pumpkin muffins in July.

Teavana had samples of Pumpkin crème brulee tea. And apparently, one of them now serves food, but the whole chain was also bought out by Starbucks a year ago.

Well, there was a pumpkin rice recipe in the paper this morning, and it looks good. I saved it, and will try it this fall.

I do like pumpkin-flavored coffee. Usually I just sprinkle the spice over the coffee grounds. And CS introduced a yummy new holiday tea last year--Sweet Harvest Pumpkin. I hope it was a hit because I want it again this year!

Had pumpkin bread from Bob Evans this past weekend
DH has found some pumpkin beers
I'll have to try that pumpkin blizzard
Will also have to look for the pumpkin bagels and cream cheese.
Love pumpkin flavoured items - coffee, pies, cream rolls, pancakes, ...

Someone from another thread talked of Oreos - pumpkin spice
