A Baker man may be charged with battery after throwing a plate of freshly cooked hamburgers at his girlfriend’s head.

An Okaloosa County sheriff’s deputy responded to a call on Keyser Miller Road after a woman complained she had fled her home after a fight with her live-in boyfriend.

She stated that they had been having problems because she had accused him of having other girlfriends.

Yeah, I read about this, yesterday. We live in Santa Rosa County, which is next door to Okaloosa, so I know where Baker is; I've been there a couple of times. Nice place, but like anywhere, it has it's share of the somewhat un-civilized, shall we say? I have a sneaking suspicion that there was alcohol involved. I'm glad no one was seriously hurt, but I have to admit that I did get the giggles, thinking of a plate of burgers flying through the air.
