Luckily my favorite cereals never been discontinued since I was a wee one. Now chips on the other hand...grrrr. I still miss my REAL taco flavored doritoes from my childhood.
All my favourite cold cereals now taste like crap as the sodium and sugar is MUCH LOWER and its disgusting

Not even close. Mueslix is expensive and loaded with sugars, probably lots of chemicals too.
The main ingredients of real muesli are oatmeal, milk, and a sweetener such as Spenda, sugar, or Truvia (some people don't sweeten it) - which are very cheap and quick to mix together. Then you can toss in any combination of fruits or nuts that you want - maybe only a few raisins, or a bit of trail mix.
You're not putting in the whole box of raisins or whatever, just a little. The effort, time and money a very little - the only thing that takes any significant time is waiting for the oatmeal to soak up the milk - about 15 minutes.

Meh, im not a health nut. I ate mueslix for the taste, not any health benefit. Nuts cost about $10 a tin here, fruits arent cheap either and they go bad quickly, and yes, i do put in the whole box of raisins. Add to that milk costs $3+ a gallon and it takes 2 cups? No thanks, my food budget isnt that high.
You do know far too many people - look at the obese around you - are borderline type I candidates because of what they eat, no? Cereal itself may not cause diabetes but toss it in with the rest of the junk people eat and it's a stepping stone. Cold cereal is fast food and fast food turns to fat.
Type 1 is not do due eating, neither is type 2. Type 1 is caused by your pancreas not working at all and Type 2 is your pancreas works but not as well as it could. (to put it simply). People can eat sweets their whole lives and never get Diabetes. At the same time vegetarians can get diabetes.
Ok so I saw this in the store today and I bought a box. OMG! It's good. I ate some of it plain in a small bowl. I enjoy snacking on dry cereal especially the sweet ones. Never heard of it until this thread and neither did hubby. Maybe it was a very short lived item? I hope it stays. I like it a lot better than cinnamon toast crunch.
