Has anyone seen any desserts that look like other kinds of food lately? If so, post links, pictures, and a short description.

The dinners that are actually dessert: Baker creates sumptuous plates of noodles, roasted meats and tacos that are all made of CAKE | Daily Mail Online

I could hardly believe my eyes on these and would like to try the TV dinner cake for sure.

Okay, I guess not many people are interested in silly cakes on a Sunday.

Certainly creative, but at the same time there's something really creepy about these cakes.

Spaghetti eis. You put vanilla ice cream though a press so it comes out like spaghetti strands. Top it with strawberry sauce and sprinkle coconut on top. Looks like spaghetti with tomato sauce and grated cheese.

I don't get the appeal. When I think "creative" with respect to cakes, I think cakes shaped like houses or Easter bonnets, not a sliced ham.

Yeah, its like the cakes that some have at their baby showers that look like realistic babies. I'm sure the cakes take a lot of time and talent to make, but I'm not really interested in eating a babies head for dessert.

Made out of polymer clay and about the size of a fingernail. I know it's not real food but all of her work looks realistic.

That is gorgeous. I bet you could do the same with fondant.

I can see where cake shaped like a baby at a baby shower could be a bit morbid, but there are other creative options, like diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and rattles.

Those real food cakes are probably a shock to the senses. I'm still wondering how she made the TV dinner cake.
