I start my early morning with 1 cup of very warm water with 1 1/2 tsp turmeric and gulp it down before I realize what ugly stuff I am drinking. Then I had my 2 cups green tea and a toasted bagel with cinnamon and honey spread.

I love turmeric in cooking and I understand it has some health benefits. I am guessing you are not doing this for the taste, from what you wrote .

What does it do for you?
My husbands family and relatives when they get older they eat turmeric from the fresh turmeric root or here in powder form with milk or water . They say it helps them against arthritis and fights off illnesses. My husband and I started drinking turmeric with water about 3 month ago or so. I got used to the taste so long I do not look at it while I drink it or even smell it

I have found in my many years that there is one really, really good thing about being an adult - you can have ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST IF YOU WANT!

Although I will admit to feeling maybe KINDA a tiny smidgen of guilt the first time I had ice cream for breakfast, but then I called my mother myself to tell her. She laughed at me and asked me why it had taken me so long to finally figure that out? I love my mom! She's cool!
