Cheese quesadillas cut into bite size pieces, Little Smokies with little slices of cheddar skewered on toothpicks, summer sausage sliced into small triangular pieces, torn pita bread with a few hummus varieties.

One of the killer dips a friend of mine lakes is pretty easy but requires a small crockpot. Add some cheddar and Velveeta, a little milk, a can or two of diced jalapeno (hot or mild), a pound or more of crumbled, fried hot or mild Italian sausage. turn on crock and melt down, add the ingredients, let it simmer an hour or two and it's a pretty good nacho dip.

All pretty cheap and easy (except for the cheese dip, IMO)

Buffalo hot wings
A variety of cheeses and crackers
Hummus and pita bread cut into small pieces

You can also buy some frozen appetizers so that all you have to do is heat them up. Some good ones from Costco's are:
Taquito's
Athens Spanakopita
Mini Quiche
Swedish meatballs

I'm adding my vote to other posters' ideas of roast beef with horseradish cream on bread slices, and Swedish meatballs too.

You could make pesto flatbreads for those who don't care for pizza/tomato sauce. You could do Reuben crostinis by topping crusty Italian bread slices with corned beef, Thousand Island, and Swiss then do a quick broil. If you live near a Trader Joe's, they have frozen bean and cheese as well as chicken taquitos that are microwaveable. I also recommend sliced fruit with honey or vanilla-flavored yogurt dip just to have something on the lighter side and something that appeals to the sweet tooth.

We love the small ham and cheese rolls. I'm sure the spread is not the healthiest but it is delicious. It's hard now to find the pepperidge farm rolls but any small size roll will do.

PEPPERIDGE FARM HAM & CHEESE
SANDWICHES
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. chopped onions
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm finger rolls
Sliced ham
Swiss cheese
Melt a stick of butter. Remove from heat then add sugar, onions and poppy seeds. Split 2 packages of rolls in half and brush both sides with butter stuff. Put ham and Swiss cheese on one side. Put together put back in pan rolls came in and cover with foil. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

I take Little Smokies and wrap them in bacon secured with a tooth pick. Put them in a crock pot and dump brown sugar over them. Cook over night on low.

My family and friends love them.

Meatballs in a crockpot. You won't make enough of them, no matter the recipe.

Did anyone mention chili yet? Easy peasy, again leave warm in a crock pot, with lots of nice soft bread (french bread) cut up.

Spinach dip and soft bread is also an easy winner.

Jalapenos stuffed with a mixture of turkey sausage, chopped red and green bell peppers, and white onions.

I slice the peppers longways and load them up with the sausage, roll them in the pepper/onion mixture (pressing down to get the peppers and onions to stick in the sausage)

Sprinkle with a bit of paprika and grated Parmesan/Romano cheeses and bake (350 for about 30 minutes or so). They make great appetizers hot or cold.

Funeral sandwiches! Recipe are in the Recipe forum here.

I've made some with horseradish and roast beef instead of the ham and mustard. Delish. And easy to do too.

I am not loving the name "funeral sandwiches," especially for a party for senior citizens. How morbid. Can't they just be "little sandwiches"?
