It shouldn't have been served. The waitress said the baker apologized. Perhaps the baker was forced to send it out because of what the misguided manager said. The person who baked it knew the moment he/she started it wouldn't be ready in time...plenty of time to change that one menu item. The manager had a terrible excuse. She did say it was not made in time but it was on the menu so it had to be served.

The only one who apologized was the waitress. Perhaps because she was young and didn't have to worry about keeping her job.

That white mess running out over the plate with a little lump here and there in it. Hate to think of it. And, of course, we're also wondering what else they thought was okay to serve that shouldn't have been.
