They *seem* colder (which is a must, ice granules on the top is the best) and when you are prone to knocking things over like I am, bottles are safer.
Me? I don't like the the plastic bottles at all. I always feel like the plastic bottles are less cold or something.

I agree, JBird. Plastic bottles always seem lukewarm at best. I find if I put a can in the back of my fridge, it gets really cold.

Maybe they just seem colder to me and it is all in my head! They do prevent me from spilling DC all over my desk which is a good thing. My husband doesn't buy my arguement that bottles are colder either. At least I don't have to fight him for the bottles!

Since you did ask, you should switch to not drinking soda at all. Avoid high fructose corn syrup at all costs.

Drink sugar-sweetened tea, lemonade, limeade, even Kool-Aid, before you drink soda.

By the way, neither tastes better because of the artificial sugar aftertaste.

If I had to choose, diet Pepsi. But I only started drinking it because I had a roommate who used to down that stuff like crazy so I was curious about why she was so hooked.

Personally my favorite is Diet Dr. Pepper although I have greatly decreased my consumption of it in an effort to be healthier. However, I just saw the ad for the "cherry chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper" and am tempted, but I'm not sure where I will find just 1 can or bottle of this drink to try it.

Diet Coke with splenda tastes pretty good. I usually drink Vanilla Coke Zero.

I like them both. Have you tried the new Tava drinks by Pepsi? They are calorie and caffeine free and really good. I think they are a great alternative to full calorie soda, plus I think it is a good idea to drink a ton of caffeine.

Its not soda, its POP! lol

I hate all pop, never touch the stuff, except a very rare root beer float on a hot summer day. I drink water, ice water, all year long.

Now that I am a little more cautious of my calorie intake, I prefer Diet Sundrop, Diet Sunkist, and Diet Dr. Pepper. All three of those drinks taste like the nondiet versions. If I can take a liking to diet drinks, then I know anyone else can!

No Way! I think Diet Sundrop tastes like poison! No diet drink tastes like the regular version. If they did, why would you need both versions? Diet drinks are nasty! Just drink water. It's a tough switch to make but if you do, you'll feel better!
