I haven't been there but I've been to La Porte des Indes over by Marble Arch several times maybe 15 minutes walk from there. The decor is really nice. It's a in a huge former high ceiling ballroom. French-Creole-Indian fusion. I used to stay at the Portman Hotel a lot.
I don't know that one yet.... That's a 25 minute stroll for me as well
But I know the Portman hotel alright had many a good night in there
Plus tonight it's not happening ..... Tmrw night instead as she wants to " make a night of it! "
I can't take the credit and came home to the crock pot full of sweet and hot sausages, with basil, onions, celery, green sliced peppers and Pastene red . And a loaf of Italian bread for dipping. Came out great!

A good woman can mess with the schemes of mice and men. So it was tonight. No Mex sausage. Chicken salad on a romaine leaf with Buffalo Style Chicken salad.
