I work at a vegan taco bar tonight so probably the 'Mac N Cheese' we serve for some reason.

It is earth balance and almond milk simmered before a lump of Daiya is added. When it boils down, it's added to macaroni and then on goes nutritional yeast and spring onions.

Were going to just stay at home. Our granddaughter was having a Super bowl party with friends; we were invited but choose not to attend. We are not crazy over driving at night and less crazy over a party with maybe 10 toddlers running around while we try to watch the game. Well, the party had to be cancelled cause her darling little 7 month old has pnuemonia. She will be fine, but obviously it wasn't the time for partying. We have decided to go to our daughters which is only 4 miles away. I am taking a dip, a spread, fresh veggies, toast rounds and chicken wings. Daughter will make something and we will pretend we are having an old fashion superbowl party like we used to love when we were a little younger. That is our plans for dinner.

BTW: I think the Panthers will win, but am routing for the Broncos. I was leaning Panthers earlier this week, then Newton said something that should have been not said in my opinion. I still think he is a great quarterback.

Carne asada nachos and a few cold beers. I still have to pick up my beer. It will either be Allagash White or Switchback. I'll figure it out when I am at the store.
Oh and Go Panthers! Nothing against Denver but you know how us Pats fans feel about the Manning brothers.

We forgot to eat last night. Got swamped on the patio, talked the blue off the sky. So,it will,be last nights leftovers of baby backs, beans (they turned out nicely), slaw and corn bread.

Two more days without stove! Do we really need one? SO thinks the gap in the kitchen will not hold a gun safe so a stove it shall be and pizza on Tuesday

Not going out to watch the game, and hoping not to have to go out tomorrow for anything! We loaded up on lunchmeat (ham, pepperoni, salami, corned beef, turkey, roast beef), cheese (Swiss, cheddar, provolone, American) , good bakery rolls, lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, black olives, sport peppers, pickles, and various "dressings". Subs for tonight for sure - tomorrow I'll eat the leftover brat and husband will do another sandwich or two.

Have enough stuff if any of our friends decide to drop in later like they usually do - for Superbowl, Kentucky Derby, Preakness and the Belmont. We can go all year without seeing some of these folks EXCEPT for those days. We have weird friends, I know.

No big Super Bowl plans; DH will watch it downstairs and I may or may not watch it. I can't watch sports with him because he likes to record it and watch it about 30 minutes to an hour or more behind so he can fast forward through commercials. I like to watch sports in real time.

We will eat the stew that I cooked in the crockpot all day yesterday. Already had it for lunch and it's on the menu for dinner too, along with some cornbread.

It's just the two of us for game-watching today and we'll be having sushi, wings, crock pot polish sausage, hot & smoky baked beans, and stuffed potato skins. Plus beer and wine. Go Broncos!
