youtube vids say to remove some moisture, but don't say how.

for hash browns...I want to make them a little ''lighter''...

Wrap in a thin towel if you have any and squeeze or use paper towels that will remove more of the moisture but I am not sure what you mean by making them *lighter*.

1. Lightly salt - salt draws the water out of anything/

2. Place between two paper towel. Press lightly. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Check. Repeat as necessary.

That should do it.

Use a much bigger towel than you think you need, double the layers is necessary, and squeeze the hell out of it.
