Do you still have McDonalds large drinks for $1 in your area?

When I lived in Iowa and Missouri, large drinks were always a dollar. Here in Texas, they are $1.25. Must be a regional thing.

I don't think I've ever seen McDonald's sell large drinks for $1 in NYC. That's definitely the price for a small drink there.

Indiana and Ohio McDonald's have $1 drinks, any size, tea or soda.

Yeah, not sure you can even get a small for just a dollar. I think and I could be wrong the smalls go for 1.29$ at most of the fast food places around here.

I believe they are here, too, although I'm thinking that they rolled back the costs.

Restaurants charge way, way too much for their drinks.

It's one of the easier ways to generate profit. When I worked in a pizza joint, the manager told the wait staff to push soft drinks because they are a high profit item.

Yeah, most drinks only cost a restaurant pennies. Honestly, the plastic/styrofoam cup probably costs McD's more than the liquid. McD's probably figures that if you are coming in and getting a drink, you are getting food as well.

Are you talking coffee? It's $1 for a huge one...the only way I got through a work day, drove in every a.m., 2 blks. from wk. When the local McD's closed down to rebuild/modernize, I went through withdrawal.
