It doesn't matter witch Chinese super buffet with a Hibachi grill, I go to, they are all the same. I always pick raw chicken breast and what ever is available for vegetables. It is always the same. The Chicken always gets dried out because the cooks add the brown sauce at the end to cook the vegetables. They basically boil the chicken.

I prefer going to all these "New York" style carry out restaurants that Stir Fry everything. The chicken is tender.

I pretty much agree the standard Chinese buffets that offer Hibachi grills will never win a gourmet quality contest, but neither will any take out place. For good Hibachi cooking one needs to go to a true Hibachi restaurant. I might add, I don't think the buffet Hibachi grills are terrible, they are just not the best. Buffets are not meant to be great food.

I always try to avoid restaurants where the cooking is done by witches.

Yeah, that eye of newt and toe of bat isn't particularly nutritious.

Thank you for the laugh. I was sitting on my couch, crying in pain & frustration, with ice packs on my knee, wrist and elbow, after taking a pretty hard fall on the cement floor of my garage (luckily I didn't break anything) and I REALLY needed a good laugh. Thanks again.

I don't know, the one near me isn't too bad for the most part. There's one guy who makes everything dry as all get out, but most who run it don't do too bad. It's not great, but I like goin up and choosing my own stuff to throw in. Just won't go up if it is the one guy who all but burns everything.
