sounds like a pretty good meal to me: I would loved to attend your dinner party but the weather just wasn't good enough for the commute.

freezers are rearranged, can't believe what a hoarder I am. I must have a dozen containers of soup and almost as many dinners all to take to friends and people at church that are ill, but no one is getting sick. Maybe they are staying well so they do not have to eat my food. Anyway, it was fun finding all the stuff I had stored away: Tonight we are having chicken quarters (Yes, they were hidden in the back of the old freezer) brandy sweet potatoes, squash and Waldorf salad.

Tonight the husband is taking the cod he didn't want me to bake last night and making fish tacos. He will serve with shredded cabbage, a yogurt based spicy sauce he makes and some salsa we canned over the summer.
Have a great Saturday people!!

Tonight egg in mustard sauce with boiled potatoes and sprinkled with parsley. To drink a glass of white Ontario wine. For dessert pineapple and orange slices drizzled with orange juice and covered in shredded unsweetened coconut with a shot of Cointreau.

We're going to see a movie downtown this afternoon and will probably stop for dinner at one of the nearby Greek greasy spoons.
