I am "making" pizza tonight. To be honest the only part I actually make is the pizza sauce. I'll make one a pepperoni and the other mushroom and cherry tomato, maybe I'll throw some goat cheese on it. A garden salad will also be made.

We ended up last night going to friends for a few glasses of wine and some appetizers. We didn't get home until about 7pm and I didn't feel like wasting good Salmon on a night we really were not that hungry, so it is Salmon tonight. With it we are having asparagus, mashed cauliflower and squash plus a small green salad or I may forget the salad. WE love our veggies, but enough is enough.
Tonight Spanakopita pie served with carrot salad ( shredded carrots, diced apples, lemon juice, curry powder and yogurt),warm tomato salad Warm tomato salad ,yogurt mixed with red and green chilies. To drink a glass of red or white wine of their choice. For dessert https://www.thespruce.com/rote-gruet...recipe-1446791.
Tonight it's tabouli with home-grown cherry tomatoes and cucumber, pita, peaches and cream.
Thanks for the tomato salad recipe, Almrausch! I've been checking the web for recipes. We've had a humid summer and our tomatoes are especially sweet and juicy this year. Some will just get frozen for pasta dishes but these are too special to neglect. Tomato galette, tomato quiche and fried green tomatoes are on the month's menu.
With tonight's simple evening meal I can take advantage of this perfect summer day to go to the pond, read and take one of the last few dips of the MN summer.
Santa Fe stuffed chicken breast from Sprouts butcher (green chiles and cheese, I think)
Tomato, basil, mozzarella farfalle
Homemade cole slaw
