I thought I shake things up a bit
Tonight is pizza night. I will make pizzas from Durum flour and make one with tomato sauce pepperoni,onions,green olives,mushrooms,Canadian marble cheddar cheese while the other one will have tomato sauce with onion and garlic,green Bell pepper,green olives,hot red peppers,tomato slices,red onion slices and Canadian marble cheese. To drink Rickard's beer. For later I baked Linzer squares (using Mollie Katzen recipe) served with black coffee or mulled red wine/Glühwein.
I've been watching that darling British Family Cookoff show on Netflix, and these talented chefs have encouraged me to up my game a bit. At least some of the time.
Tonight I'm making scallops in garlic butter with parsley, angel hair noodles with pesto sauce and slivered almonds, and green leaf-endive salad with a vinaigrette.
I made a pork roast with sauerkraut, apples and onions. I did not like it. I gave the dogs my portion. The rest of the family said it was ok but bland. So instead I had crackers with Moroccan sunset spread(feta, lebany, garlic, preserved lemons, olive oil, and cayenne) and Plymouth hot cheese. It's a raw milk, 60 day aged version of pepper jack and I really like it!
I had half a sauteed chicken breast. Eating beanitos and drinking Captain Morgan Black rum tonight waiting for kickoff.
