I'm on some kind of salad kick I guess. I took a photo of last night's panzenella salad I made.
Tonight I am making a marinated mozzarella, cherry tomato and basil salad. I am also making an alfredo sauce to serve on some spicy sausage ravioli I bought. I have to buy my ravioli, I still haven't learned to do it myself.
Tonight smoked salmon omelet with red onions and capers served with sliced buttered baguette and a bottle of Ontario red wine, a Shiraz Cabernet 2014 from the Pelee Island Winery.
I will use these ingredients ..
eggs
salt/black pepper
butter
diced smoked salmon
diced red onions and capers
a bit of whipped cream cheese
baguette warmed up in the oven

Yum! I don't think the thing about ravioli is that it's hard to make, but that it takes a while and gets flour all over your kitchen (some of you may be more Martha Stewart than me). I'm totally happy to buy ravioli.
Homemade Egg rolls, maybe once a year, otherwise same category.
Tonight is probably leftover Chinese food.
