I know there are many cafes and organizations like this all over the country. I try to support them as best I can.

They eat there free?

Not quite the same, but also a very noble cause. Visited this place few days ago and was impressed with the food and the concept. My waiter was better skilled than most in regular restaurants. He knew the menu, could answer questions about the food, and was very polite and attentive.
I wish there would be such restaurant in every city:

what a wonderful concept; They sound like Angels, too bad there are not more like them, but I bet we do not know about some who do operate a similar restaurant. wow, the food looked good as well.
Here, though not the same, but similar; our American Legion has a buffet breakfast two Sat a month, that is donations only. I have noticed people dropping as little as a $ in the jar and as much as $10. It too serves the purpose of allowing people to eat a decent breakfast for little money, people visiting with others and a place for some of us just to go on Sat. morning.
