Tonight will be served Hühnerfrikassee/chicken fricassée served with rice. To drink Gewurztraminer Riesling. For dessert Jamocha ice cream cake with roasted almonds and shaved mocha chocolate.
Later in the evening Baumkuchen with whipping cream and a cup of black coffee or Champagne.
Another dinner closer to most people's LUNCH time! I bought wild salmon yesterday (on sale but still expensive IMHO ... $8.99/lb. ) so had some today with the maple-mustard sauce I discovered a few weeks ago ...
Veggies were 6 different kinds as opposed to yesterday's 7 -- I used up all the asparagus yesterday. The salmon was terrific although honestly, I couldn't taste the difference between this wild salmon and the farmed Maine salmon I had a couple of weeks ago -- both were delicious.
Back to planning my kitchen, er, grading ... ... have a great weekend, everyone!
Wife is getting off a plane from a 3 week trip to Europe ,before boarding she said she was craving Chinese food, i'm sure a big bag of take out will satiate her needs = Mr Spicy
Turkey-Vegetable lettuce wraps made with daikon, carrot, celery, jalapeno, garlic, and ginger. Sauce is hoisin & soy, sesame oil, rice vinegar and red pepper flakes.
Such a virtuous dinner earns a lot of chocolate points.
