Magic, can't wait to hear how your fancy ham comes out!

I am going to boil up some small white potatoes and serve them with butter, cottage cheese, and lots of fresh ground pepper. I'll make a red leaf and avocado salad too.

I have watermelon, cherries, and black cherry jello available for dessert.

So tonight I am cooking up the country ham we bought while down in West Virginia. We have been soaking it for three days, changing the water multiple times a day. Serving with stuffed tomatoes and English muffins. I am going to have my husband make either red eye gravy or maybe hollandaise sauce. I am a little up in the air about it right now.
Here it is with Dr. Pepper and sweet pickle juice. I foiled it up good. I am using Alton Brown's recipe.
I wish you’d post a lesson on ham. I would no more know how to fix one than I would know how to fly a C-130.

Pork chops with mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed green beans, dinner rolls, and a good bottle of Chardonnay is what we’ll be having tonight.
