OMG flashback to my dementia client who would eat that size canned dog food if I put in in the condo.

Balance Bar - cookie dough flavor is my favorite. The sugar content is a little high but its not "fake" sugar" so thats nice.

Can't say I've ever had a dog biscuit. Any brands that stand out to you?

Do you eat it out of the crystal dish like the cat in the commercial?

And "Chocolate Craze" is my flavor. I haven't found another brand of protein bar that I like (Quest bars are especially icky... who eats those things??). I don't even like other flavors of Balance Bars, except peanut butter.

Never tried a dog biscuit, so can't comment on them.

Probably dog biscuits but I haven't had one in many many years (30+) so at least at the time they were probably all made in the usa with natural offal. Now it'd all be offal from China so I'll stick with a lara bar or something. I've had them in the past and they didn't' kill me.

I don't need protein bars what I need are dairy free bars that are not hard. A lot of non-dairy bars are tooth-breakers and held together with sheets of glasslike substances constructed of sugar (honey). I don't find anything pleasant about those at all and it feels like I'm eating cake in a different form. Lara bars can be hard and a little sweet, they are still heavily caloric imo and to be avoided generally but are my go to to keep in my bag while I"m travelling if I can't find a dairy free dining option on the road (note- not all lara bars are dairy free- read labels if you have any allergies!.

As for taste I'll always prefer savory over sweet so I guess given these two options pass me the box of chinese milkbones <shrug> just don't expect any tail wagging.

Maybe, but MilkBone wasn't good. I ate a piece that dropped on the floor when the spaniel was crunching one up. It was really hard, too. I was only 3, so what did I know.

Not surprised given that the question was essentially troll bait. I gave my answer about all the seriousness I could muster, which was none.

Er, I mean "Woof woof!"
