Ingredients
2 free-range eggs, hard-boiled, yolks only
2 tbsp English mustard
½ lemon, juice only
1 tbsp caster sugar
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
150ml/5fl oz double cream
150ml/5fl oz olive oil
salt and ground white pepper

That sounds good....like a slaw dressing.

Also use salad cream for egg and cress sandwiches, coleslaw and with apple and cheese as a snack.
Egg salad made with salad cream is much better than egg salad made with mayo for sure.

Its much thicker than a slaw dressing - what with the cream etc, and a lot more zingy with the English mustard.

Having had all three (mayo, salad cream, slaw dressings), I wouldn't say salad cream is much like a slaw dressing at all in taste.

where do you people find salad cream?

I am always looking in the international section of my markets But I never see any. I have seen it at Cost Plus, but it is pricey.

I buy mine at various salvage/surplus markets. When I see it, I buy 2-3 bottles.

Thank you, I do go to grocery outlet every week, & they sometimes have a nice surprise for me, maybe salad cream will pop up one day

I'm guessing that salad cream is Miracle Whip? If you already add vinegar to the potato salad I agree that it's redundant.

No, it’s not Miracle Whip. It’s called salad cream and I believe Heinz makes it. It’s in the British food section.
