Just found a great apple called Minnesota Sweet Tango. An early North American variety. He's a little guy, a hybrid. One of his parents is Honeycrisp, and the other is Minniewasheta.

Surprising unpleasant development. Yes they're sweet but many of them got mushy around the stem. yet I know they're fresh by their sweetness.

I like the sweet-tart flavor of the Empire apple. Galas are good, too.

Love galas, they sorta remind me of winesaps which we don't see often anymore.

Organic Honeycrisps at my local market. $3.49 a pound but worth it. Yum!

This past Sunday grocery store excursion, picked up a couple Honey crisps apples. I wanted a couple SweeTango too but didn't see them. Just today while out and about, saw the SweeTango apples at both Sam's Club and somewhere else, but they were in a bag of like a dozen. Didn't want that many. I'll wait til I see the singles.

I recently made apple sauce using Jona Gold's. It has a nice sweet flavor.
