I'm not a huge brat fan, but we are doing a BBQ for the 4th of July and DH wants grilled brats, Italian sausage and hot dogs. I'll make some peppers and onions for the sausage, and I've bought sauerkraut for the dogs - but what goes on the brats?

And does macaroni salad go with this stuff?
ON the brats I like brown mustard and dill relish with some red onion.
WITH the brats I like potato salad, cole slaw, chips, beer, soft drinks, baked beans, grilled stuffed jalapenos, olives, pickles, cheese tray........and then a nap.
On brats we like sauerkraut, mustard and onion. With brats at a bbq, macaroni salad, potato salad, German potato salad, baked beans, chips. Typical bbq fare.

I'd Agree
I also like to put the brats into a large pan filled with beer, fresh chopped garlic & onions
and set the flame on low, turn off the flame as it is just about to boil
Not only do they taste fantastic but they cook faster all the way through

I read the title and thought you were talking about spoiled children. I’ve never heard them called Brats we call them Brots.
