Been out all day so fast meal: madras lentils with mung beans added over corn chips with arugula, tomatoes, onions, avocados, goat cheese and pepperonicinis.

Got a good deal on chicken thighs yesterday as well as asparagus. We are having glazed thighs this evening, bacon wrapped asparagus and avocado salad. I have a couple of brownies from a take out, charity dinner we had last night so spoiled brat will have them
It is quite cool outside and I feel like putting the heater on,but decided to put the fireplace on instead.
I hear Dawns voice in my ears telling me tonight is pizza night.
I am making 2 round trays of vegetable pizzas.One will have green and red chilies,ginger,garlic,onions,green Bell pepper and thin tomato slices and the other one will have onions,mushrooms,green olives and green Bell peppers.Both topped with old Canadian cheddar cheese.Served with a green salad.To drink a choice of leftover Oktoberfest beers.For dessert later by the fireplace a large cup of masala chai and ginger snap cookies.

Hahahaha!!! Love it! Your pizza sounds delicious! (And I'm a sucker for cookies and can almost taste ginger snaps right now.) I just ran to the grocery store to pick up salad stuff for dinner tonight -- Alm, my friend, winter is coming!!! Stay cozy and have a great weekend.
We are guest and travel free for at least a month. I am on strike from cooking until next week, though we have party to attend on Sat. so I wouldn't cook anyway.
