Sunday is the Superbowl again. My Pats are in it again. We are old and boring now so we no longer go out and about for it. It will just be my husband and I and our two boys.

This year I am stymied with what I want to make for food. Here on the east coast it starts right around dinner time. I don't want a meal, just things to pick at during the game. I don't feel like any of the usual suspects though.

So what are you guys doing? Maybe I can steal something from one of you! If not then some kind of take out I guess!

-Crockpot Meatballs (so easy and always a hit)
-Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
-I also had chips and such
-And CakeBalls, for fun

We got a couple bags of Tyson chicken - spicy buffalo whatever for DH, Honey bar-b-que for moi.
Just realized might need to get another bag of my potato chips.
DH has plenty of brew. I've got my wine. Think we're good

Nothing.

We go to a big street party here where they shut down the street and haul in a bunch of outdoor sofas and show the game on a big screen.

Had not thought about it since we really don't watch football. But it is the one time of year my DH will watch it. He's waiting for Baseball season to start. I guess I'll make wings, chips and dip, Shrimp cocktail.

Nothing for this week, but last week for playoff game we had meatball sandwiches, jalapeno poppers, tortilla chips and guacamole, potato chips and dip, olives and pickles. And for the drinkers, beer and shots of whiskey.

The week before that we had grilled ham and swiss on rye, tortilla chips with cheese dip, beer and shots of Sangster's coconut rum and banana rum that my son had brought home from a trip to Jamaica.

I'm making wings with a few different sauces, Bacon & Blue Cheese spread, potato skins, and bourbon meatballs. We'll fill up on these instead of a regular meal.

I kind of forgot it's this Sunday. We usually get subs and supplement them with appetizer-type food. Just the two of us, so we won't go to a lot of trouble.

we have been invited to a Super bowl party, but looks like we are carless until after our cruise so we will jus pretend we are at a party and I will make a few snack type of foods, starting with wings of course. I am still in the process of getting the fridge empty before we leave, so will just throw together what i can find.

Of course the wine goes along with the day. it goes along with most days. As for Tyson's, we like their lime wings if I don't feel like doing wings from scratch.
