I made sharp cheddar and oat patties - a 'la Alm for dinner. Served with roasted potato wedges, lightly buttered green brans and home made German gypsy sauce - a spicy red sauce with peppers, mushrooms, grated carrots, and two kinds of paprika.
I love that sauce and it was quite good with Alm's delicious patties and the crispy potato wedges.
Dinner this evening was a new dish for us and an old stand-by. The new dish was grilled sauerkraut and avocado sandwiches with garlic hummus on marbled rye, served with pan seared brussel sprouts and a glass of merlot.
