White Sweet Potato Chips? (cookie, vegetables, French, tasty)

Has anyone ever made chips from white sweet potatoes? I'm thinking of planting some this spring for the first time and really don't know what to expect. Any info much appreciated.

No, but I've bought chips made from the orange yams and they are tasty. As are sweet potato french fries.

I’ve been reading up on growing vegetables in hot climates and sweet potatoes are supposed to thrive in the heat. Down south, you’re good to go.

I have never had them as chips, only baked, but I loved them. Go for it.

I've had sweet potato chips but I'm not big on them. I like my chips salty, not sweet. When I want sweet I eat a cookie or cake. Or pie.
