I've got strawberries all over the place, quarts of them. I've been freezing a bunch, eating some others. What can I do with all these strawberries? Help!

Juice them. Very tasty juice.
If you have grapes, juice them together in the blender with 1-2 cups of water and lots of ice for a refreshing summertime drink.
Make strawberry ice cream.
If you still have too many strawberries, feel free to send me some.

Go and buy you some Nutella, its on the same aisle with peanut butter. Its a combination of milk chocolate and hazelnut. THEN get you some sponge cake, Sara Lee makes a nice one. Slice the cake like its going to be for sandwiches but a little thicker, slather on the Nutella and then thinly slice strawberries on to it, put on the other slice. Then warm like you would a panini.

OH MY LORD its wonderful.

I sometimes just take a knife and spread the nutella straight on the berry like that.

I also like a nice chocolate brownie smothered in strawberries.

Martha Stewart has a recipe for a different shortcake that we like. Almond Cornmeal Shortcake. It's a nice change from the same old biscuit type shortcakes.

Freezer jam is so easy, and you'll have fresh strawberry jam for months - if they last that long. It's also good on ice cream.

My strawberries never last long enough to do anything but macerate them (I just use sugar), top them with whipped cream and eat them.
