My favorite chains not on this list are Maggiano's and Cracker Barrel.
All of the Bonefish Grill fans I know have also said they LOVE the Bang Bang Shrimp. I've never been, but would love to try it. I'm not much of a seafood eater, though, so I don't know if any of the entrees there would excite me.
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

We used to like Red Lobster, but the last time we went, it was for lunch and we ended up dropping $90 (including tip). The meal was good, but definitely not worth what they charged us. It's no longer on our list.
May be revealing myself as a philistine here , but I like Red Lobster. I like their lobster pizza, fried shrimp, and I have never had a bad steak there. Delicious.
In my area it seems there is a surge of copycat chicken tender places. First there was Zaxby's, then came Willy-T's, then Foosackly's, and now Raising Canes. All of them taste the same and have the same "special sauce". Enough with the chicken finger places people! LOL
We eat out sometimes but we made a rule... no restaurant chains, we chose a little bar or tiny cozy restaurant open recently.
Same here, I ate at Olive Garden not by choice and not impressed either, I never ate at Red Lobster, and I don't care if it is the best seafood, they are so expensive and for the same money I can buy my own and cook it.
We had one meal at Applebee's 8 years ago and to this day we are laughing about. Memorable meal on a bad way. Husband got a Chicken Fried Chicken that was not there. The breaded was so thick that the chicken was a thin flake in the middle.
The green beans tasted nothing like.
Of that list, only the Cheesecake Factory - on two occassions; once on a group night out and once suggested by a friend on a visit who lived in the US and had fond memories. Otherwise I would generally avoid these places in favour of locally-owned restaurants, or at least small local chains.
I quite liked the dish I had, but the place lacked character and feeling, and the cocktails were AWFUL!
