I made one last weekend. But I did a non-Thanksgiving dinner to go with it.

I do turkey ( or turkey breasts) all year round! Makes for a nice change, and it's good for you!
Turkey is one of the easiest things to cook--stick it in the oven, and when it's done, take it out! What could be easier?

We put our turkey on order with our favorite Farmers' Market meat vendor three weeks ago, as soon as they put the sign up inviting orders. Looks like we'll have a crowd again this year, so we requested a 25-pounder, and I CAN'T WAIT!

Turkey is fine, but I'd be happy with just a mountain of the stuffing like my Mom used to make, mashed taters, sweet potatoes, gravy, and pumpkin pie. Perhaps a dollop of home-made cranberry relish thrown in for the tartness that's in it...
