That's a great idea!

I like gram masala...Oh I just love the smell!
Love those Chinese Garlic/chili paste. Must have for your marinade and stir-fries. I even use that in my fried rice. Good stuff!
Old Bay seasoning, oldies but goodies!
Everglades seasoning.

As you can tell, my spice shelf is over flowing!

The majority of spices I use are the real things. Real chopped onions, real crushed garlic, real lemon juice with fresh ground pepper. Occaisionally I use fresh grated romano cheese for italian sauces, or chopped cilantro and tomatoes in mexican meals, for that 'zing'. Yes, I do cook.

Durkee's Steak Dust and a light mix with McCormick's Broiled Steak. Those two together are often all I put on pork ribs or rib-eye steaks when I barbeque. You have to be careful, though. Too much of the Broiled Steak seasoning will make it too salty.

Oh, you remind me of my favorite Lemon Pepper mix that I got from Atlantic Spice Company in Truro, MA.

I am down to my last bag of it as they changed their recipe two years ago. Don't know how I am going to make my DH's favorite salmon and chicken recipe without it.

I was there last month (the spice co.) and their new lemon pepper mix looks totally different.

Beef noodle soup, various stir-fries, Chinese BBQ (char siu). It's also pretty good for adding some flavor to bland chicken/veggie/beef stocks.

I use tons of garlic and onions. But, our everyday seasoning for just about everything is Penzey's Hot & Peppery, a mixture of red and black pepper. It's pepper, only better, and gives a great tang to the food.

McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning. I sprinkle onto my groundbeef when I fry it. It has a little heat to it and some smokey flavor too.
