I got my
Mr. Bento lunch jar, thanks to posts in this thread: (thanks city-data forums for helping me spend my money!)
https://www.city-data.com/forum/food-...g-lunches.html
Today's the first day I used it for lunch. I put a lot of thought into it this past weekend, and actually cooked for lunches this week!
So here's what's in my Bento for lunch today:
- Soup container: Corn chowder (homemade,

- Main container: 1/2 jasmine rice, 1/2 chicken tikka masala (
Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe | Recipezaar)
- Small container: carrot sticks and hummus
- Smallest container: "Cats Crackers" from TJ's and pretzels
I've already had the corn chowder and the carrot sticks and I'm wondering if I am going to be able to eat everything today. This ended up being a
lot of food!
Anyone else here use a Bento box? I totally fell in love with the concept after seeing the links in the threads above:

(The one below is totally safe for work.)

I'd participate in the Flickr group but my husband said that if he caught me taking pictures of the food I pack for lunch, he would have the men in white coats come and get me!
