NEW YORK (CNN) -- Eating a box of Girl Scout Cookies in one sitting will be a little bit easier this year: The Girl Scouts of the USA confirmed Wednesday that it has reduced the number of cookies per box to save money because of rising transportation and baking costs.
From what I heard on the news this is a common practice for all the grocery stores too. Many items are a few ounces less now for the same amount of money. Instead of a 24 pack of water you might get a 20 pack now. Look at your coffee---there is less in there too! Infact some of the companies are redoing their boxes to look like they are bigger just by different diesigning. They may use the same size box for some items with less inside. There is a lot of changes going on and we are getting less for more money!! Yikes!
