Wow, there have been lots of good ideas posted.
Why don't you also ask everyone at the office to write down their ideas and then put all of the ideas in a bowl or box. Whenever it is 'Birthday' time....have someone draw a ticket with one of the ideas on them. Then you won't even have to decide who gets what.
This time of year in Louisiana we have King Cake. Happy Mardi Gras!!
I used to work for a glass company that had a shop there in Louisiana and they sent us one of these!
We then started a game of hide the king. Who every got the king had to bring in a desert the next month.
We had so many cool desserts and it lasted a couple years.
Our my fave I'm getting ready to do for Superbowl and my daughter actually REQUESTED it for her 14th birthday - NUTELLA PIZZA! YUM!
Pizza Crust dough in the biscuit section. Put it on a pizza pan like you would any other pizza. Spread Nutella on it and bake. After it comes out you can cut it and top each piece w/ some Whipped Cream. This year I'm adding sliced bananas and strawberries to it after it comes out of the oven THEN the whipped cream

I second this, it is absolutely delicious and easy to make.
At my work, we used to do the birthday cake thing and then it got expensive. So now we do a quarterly celebration. Next month we are gettin' subs from Lenny's. mmmm
