Finally, an ice cream I can eat and not feel bad about. Since I've cut out "crap" from my diet, the only ice cream I can eat is Breyers French Vanilla, since it is the only one I have found to have strictly normal ingredients (no artificial colors, flavors, HFCS, guar gum, etc.). Looks like the new line is milk, cream, sugar, egg + whatever flavor. Glad these are less in the saturated fat, too!
I have eaten the green tea flavor. It was flavorless and boring. I usually buy green tea and ginger ice cream in the local Japanese market. I have never seen ginger ice cream in the market, but it is really delicious. They usually sell one or the other flavor in japanese restuarants.
The only HD ice cream I like is vanilla fudge and vanilla with raspberry sorbet. I don't think they make any of them any more.
I got some ice cream at Costco the other day, "almond mocha caramel". It is so good! I put Amaretto on it last night, I wanted to lick the bowl.
