I use mine to 'pull' pork or chicken in about 1 minute and I don't burn my fingers.
What happened to the meatloaf?
I should have said, I mixed meat loaf mix, or ground meat and other ingredients. The meatloaf was very, very dense. As I said, I wouldn't recommend doing that!
Today I mixed fresh, chopped pimiento pepper, shredded cheddar, cream cheese and mayo together for homemade pimiento cheese. This is best when you can taste both the sweet pimiento and the may0, IMO. The mixer handled this easily.
Don't use it to stir paint with the bread hooks. It goes without saying to not use it to mix up small amounts of concrete.
Uh oh.

I often start off with the plastic guard and then pull it off
I received the 3 piece pasta roller and cutter set a few years ago. Kind of fun to use it, but I had to mess around with a few different pasta recipes to get it right.
I wasn't aware of the new beater. Like the idea of it.
The roller makes quick work of small tortillas or crackers:>)
The meat grinder attachment is a favorite of mine. I make 'burger patties out of whole pork loin. Sub-$2.00/pound. Very lean. It's one of my staples when I'm doing tailgate BBQ for 10+ people. After grinding it, I mix in fresh minced garlic, salt & pepper, whole fennel seed, ground fennel, oregano, and paprika. I make patties out of it and freeze them in 5 cup plastic containers.
I don't either it doesn't contain the flour cloud all the way anyway and the opening is smaller to add to the bowl.
Does anybody have the beater with the rubber side on it and is it worth buying? Drives me nuts how often I have to scrape down the sides when mixing stuff to bake. I have the Pro 600.
I have the rubber-sided beater. It scrapes down the sides as it mixes, well worth the price.
Here's my tip: purchase an extra bowl do you don't have to stop and wash the bowl if you are preparing more than one food that needs to be mixed. Having extra bowls when you are cooking a big meal, or even just preparing a dip and dessert cuts down on prep time.
I've got 3 bowls and 4 beaters, and there are times I use them all and then put them through the dishwasher.

It's probably the orbital planetary gears creating the noise.
I change blades when the machine is plugged in. I've never had a problem.
