They are small franchises. Not many around--I assume that the cost of leasing space in the strip malls is expensive and it must be difficult to make a profit from this sort of venture.

I love the sugar free/fat free butterscotch--very light. And the white chocolate.

A special treat for myself.

Walmart carries a sugar free frozen yogurt--Bluebell, IIRC. I like that. Also enjoy Publix's Rainbow sherbert.

I enjoyed many flavors of ice cream growing up. Freshly churned strawberry, peach and banana and the best--vanilla with hershey's syrup.

Default My personal favorite place

Was "Ferdinand's" at Washington State University.

Of course the best "ice cream" is the home-made kind, especially when your uncle owns a dairy farm and you get to milk the cows yourself

A Coldstone ice cream store just opened up near me, but I haven't been to it yet. There's one down the street from my workplace I've been to a number of times. My favorite Coldstone creations are the Chocolate Devotion, Nights in White Chocolate and Cheesecake Fantasy.

I actually prefer Baskin-Robbins or ice cream from Rite-Aid drugstores (Thrifty Brand).

Have you decided where you're going to live in DFW yet, MBG? There's a TCBY in Richardson!

There must be others too, right? My aunt loves that TCBY though. Cold Stone is too rich for me, I'd rather have yogurt.

I have never seen a Cold Stone. I have been to Marble Slab. Their banana ice cream was pretty good, but not what I would call $8 for an ice cream cone good.
