Here is some of my favorite candy Boston Baked Beans, Bubble Gum Cigarettes, Kits, Large Sugar Daddy, Salt Water Taffy, etc.
I couldn't vote...about the only candy I DON'T like would be Necco wafers and those nasty little Valentine hearts. I recall a line from Futurama concerning the same: “These candies are chalky and unpleasant!”
Nothing like a little paper bag of penny candy. I liked the licorice pipes, sixlets, peanut shaped hard candy filled with peanut butter, caramel squares and turkish taffy.
I still almost exclusively buy Good and Plenty when I buy candy, but I like Boston Baked beans a lot too. SweetTarts and Midgies go hand in hand with Halloween in our house.
Never heard of most of those except Necco wafers, Sugar Daddy, Bit O Honey, and Good and Plenty. Didn't like them but I love a good chocolate bar. Never cared for M&Ms--when I want chocolate, I want chocolate, and a lot of it. Sky Bars are going to be coming back--those were pretty good too.
never liked any of those but being a dumb kid, I ate anything sweet, and have the fillings to prove it. Now I don't eat candy unless it is good chocolate.
Some of the ones I had as a kid - Pixie Stix, SweetTarts (including the giant one), Sugar Daddies and Babies. Never liked Good & Plenty or Dots. Also I hated spice drops, which masquerade as gum drops but with a horrible flavor.
Ribbon and pillow candy - our local school board gave each kid a small box of this every Christmas. I don't remember anyone liking it.
