Dr. Pepper and cherry flavoring (I like it at QuikTrip). Delicious!

I'm with you. I'm a soda purist unless I'm at an old-fashioned diner. (Wish there were more of those around in Dallas!!) Pepsi or Coke is also good with a fat wedge of fresh lemon, but the artificially flavored lemon coke is gross.

When I was younger, I used to mix Mtn Dew, 7Up, and Tahitian Treat together.

About a year later, Mountain Dew came out with Code Red. I knew I should have patented it!

Dunno.

But it probably includes old-style Pepsi.

Some days, when I have the inclination, I visit half a dozen "convenience" shop(pe)s until I find one that sells the optimal ice and the cup that fits my console.

I make a nice, shallow, crushed-ice-heavy Coke Zero, and then sit at the pump, deftly pouring Buffalo Trace or Jim Beam Black into the Commemorative Keeper.

Drive, Think, Refill. If you get loopy, eat. Be an action figure.

I haven't been to a Sonic in about five years, but I loved how you could get about a dozen different flavors of soda. Their vanilla Cokes were so much better than the canned stuff. I tried coconut Coke and watermelon Sprite--both good.
