The boys at Throttle House, who test a range of vehicles from Everyman cars to high-end models, with a distinct bias towards performance-oriented vehicles, have had the new Mustang Mach-E from Ford out for a road test. The first pony out of the gate is not the GT edition, it's a more sedate model, but I have seldom seen the comments so uniformly positive from these two. Nice to hear, as Ford is making a big bet on EVs, so their business is depending on their success with this platform. If these views are any indication, they have a winner on their hands.
I actually like the exterior styling (except the tiny door handles), but I hate the dashboard design. I just do not like those huge tablets stuck onto the dash like that, and I bet on a really hot day when the back of that thing heats up, the screen will get laggy or unresponsive.

Actually the exterior is my lease favorite. The front looks like a grinning face with a fat nose. If that got rid of that lower grill, it would get rid of the grin and the face look. Right now it just looks like a character from Cars.
The Mach E GT front end looks much better than the base model.
I'm really not a fan of the tablets. I've driven plenty of them to get annoyed when you are driving on the highway trying to reach over and navigate to a certain button, and having to take your eyes of the road, and try and press a button with no tactile feel while you are bouncing around. I'd rather have hard touch buttons.
Other than that I love the car. As a Mustang enthusiast, I do wish it had a different name

Yeah, when I first saw it a few months ago, I didn't care for the front end styling. But I think part of the reason is that it's different, and I find it growing on me the more that I see it. I think the part that troubled me comes from the fact you don't need a grille on an EV, but they still went with the outline where a grille would be, I guess to make it look more aggressive instead of jelly-bean shaped.
You should post this in the Automotive board (one level up, not the Brand-specific forum). People may not be prone to look at the Ford and Lincoln board, and this is certainly cool enough to warrant a post there. I've been posting there lately and there it's like the wild west anyway, this would get lots of views and comments there.
