We are considering a move to Ft. Collins and are wondering about services in schools for special needs kids. I have an elementary aged daughter with developmental delays, and want to find the best school/district for her. Also, how does CO do in general in terms of funding/supports for people with disabilities? Thanks!

I have a client who has been happy with the programs for their special needs daughter at Zach Elementary school, in the south-east part of town.

This page at the local district website may have more information that you might find helpful.

Yes, Zach Elementary that services Fossil Lake Ranch and Observatory Village has very good programs with kids with special needs. Hope this helps.
