For the first time since I was in college, I'm without my own personal laundry facility. Found a wonderful apartment in Bellvue, but no washer/dryer or a laundry room to put them in. Small price to pay for a beautiful country area.

Looking for some that have extended hours and have enough washers/dryers that I can find a couple of unused ones when I visit. Also need one with a change machine and large capacity washers for bedspreads, blankets, etc. Don't care about those machines that sell laundry detergent, etc...I bring my own.

Would like suggestions on your top 3 laundromats in FoCo based on price, quality of equipment, etc. There is MicroMat on LaPorte, near City Park, that is a little run down, but is open later than most laundromats. It seems like a relatively safe neighborhood there. Plus there is one in LaPorte but it closes earlier than I like. Someone told me about one that is near CSU that is good (?). I went to the one over by LaMars donuts...expensive and their hours are limited.

Thanks for any suggestions....

I can't remember the name of it, but there is a laundry mat off of S. Sheilds & W. Stuart. It is next door to Slider's bar & Grill and a pizza place. It is close to the college, but as for laundrymats go, I would drive there from Swallow & Lemay because it was good. This was 2007 so my info may be dated. It was clean, open late, and in a nice neighborhood. When the college is not in session it is a dream to do your laundry there. Always an open washer or dryer. And you can always grab a beer at the bar & grill next door while your laundry is washing. I loved it there.
