Well I had plans earlier this summer on being in Fort Lauderdale so I started looking for jobs. There's plenty from what I seen. You should look into Palm Beach County areas as well. They seem to be hiring in alot of cities there too.

Snagajob Fort Lauderdale/Surrounding Areas

Lots of places are hiring. 60 applications in 2 years is almost 1 application every 2 weeks, you want a medal for such a tremendous effort? Try filling out 10 per day. Go to Sawgrass and hit up every single restaurant, store, etc. You could do 60 in a day.

As a word of advice, it's usually VERY hard to get hired at places like Wal-Greens/Publix, etc. They get a million applications.

Try restaurants. If they are hiring, they'll typically interview and hire on the spot.

You should be filling out 60 applications a week, not 60 over 2 years. You are not really trying to get a job.

Teleperformance (TAG) in North Lauderdale is always hiring. Mostly all Customer service and some technical support agents. If you fill out an app on their sight they will give you and interview.

What is your great work history ???

I know a company in Miami Lakes that is hiring different positions, but you have to pass a back ground check and drug test. You also have to be willing if they do hire to commute to Miami Lakes

You need to find a church in the area! Any baptist church should be willing to open their doors and help you with what you need! There are alot in the Fort Lauderdale area. What you do is find someone who works for the church for help on what you can do and who can help you! Usually they will talk to the pastor and someone from the congregation will open their doors of their house for you to stay! I'm praying for you that you find a place and a job! God bless you!
