We will be visiting a friend who will be staying in a vacation home on a canal. We will be towing our boat (24 ft) and will be able to put the boat at the dock at the canal rental home and the trailer in the driveway. But we aren't sure where the closest launch ramp is located - anyone with advise would be appreciate it :-). Here is the zip code where the rental house is 33308.

It'll be about four miles from your place to that boat launch.
