the last thread i made concerning good paying jobs in broward didnt go too well, it was taken a little too seriously by a poster who had doubts about my ability to spell lol. Actually I am amazing writer (not being cocky) but it is what I am interested in doing with my life, write! i write stories, poetry, ect. I am currently working on publishing my first book. So can i find out are there any high paying jobs in fort lauderdale that require WRITING skills, I have had an offer from hallmark for 1,000 dollars a poem BUT I am not sure i want to give them all the writes to MY work.

If you need steady income, you could work for a newspaper while pursuing your book. I know that's not high income, but it pays the bills until you move on. You could also contact one of the university's in the area to see where they place their students in this field after graduation.

Before touting your skills you might want to check your grammar as in the "rights" not "writes" to your work. If you are hired by anyone to write for them, that is called a "work for hire" which means you can not own or copyright this work. I mention this, because many people don't know this. Good luck to you.
